CMM - exceptional plastic part precision

Many of our customers require high precision thermoplastic parts. A good example would be the flow control industry where plastic parts used in gas valves and gauges require extremely tight tolerances to ensure that no leaking will occur.

GTM has two decades of experience molding parts with dimensional tolerances of as little as 1/1000 of an inch, and providing the consistent quality needed to make such a project viable.

In addition to a design and molding team who can help you develop the part, you'll need quality control which is second to none.

Among our arsenal of tools to make this happen is a programmable Coordinate Measuring Machine - CMM.

With a CMM, analyzing high precision parts is a snap, and ensures consistent accuracy.

Our Brown and Sharpe One Shop model can handle parts up to 38" wide, with an accuracy of 2/10,000 of an inch.

The software makes the setup of qualifying probes and aligning parts easy. And once the program for your part is created, setting up and running an accurate quality analysis is a matter of a few keystrokes on the computer.
