The MOTAN resin handling system is an important part of our lean manufacturing effort.

The system serves as a staging area and distribution mechanism for resin needed for immediate use.

Resin must be dried to a precise dew point for superior quality.

Most injection molding companies do their drying in the hopper at the molding machine, which means a valuable machine can sit unused for several hours for the drying process, and the imprecise results can lower quality.

The Motan system precisely dries the resin in its own bins (see picture), and conveys the material to molding machines on demand.

The result is timely job completion and superior quality for our customers. Using MOTAN is a perfect example of what lean manufacturing is all about.
